she stands
he stares
lost in a myriad of thoughts
words and reticence become one
she cuts through
the sapphire wind
as shadows steal her steps
he tries to speak
she wants to listen
silence echoes through
the night

into the night alone
into the dark he fades
within himself hes lost
his inner-self decayed

trapped in hopeless dreams
all he wants
all he sees
together they stand
in ruby rain
the warmth makes them
one

eyes are open

all is gone

I love the way u used words like " sapphire wind" and "ruby rain" ... they work really well.

fantastic, this is incredible there's so much imagery. its difficult to pick up on a single reason for the events as it keeps throwing up new ones that make you think ummm, maybe..?

I don't understand how the last two lines fit in, but I think the rest of the poem is outstanding.
